Xing Kelei informed the group of trainees that someone had sneaked out of the base. He made it clear that one person's mistake would result in punishment for the entire group. Mi Ka felt that Xing Kelei was cunning, but to obtain her certificate of completion, she had to swallow her pride and admit her fault. As the training continued, tension rose between them as they clashed, each unwilling to yield.

Mi Ka got lost in the mountains and injured her foot. Hearing that Mi Ka hadn't returned, Xing Kelei became anxious and went to look for her. Eventually, he discovered her trail at the foot of the mountain. Xing Kelei finally understood Mi Ka's reasons for leaving the base without permission. Seeing Mi Ka's warmth and enthusiasm, he finally understood her.

Mi Ka suddenly received an urgent signal on the rescue app. There was an accident nearby in urgent need of rescue, but the surroundings were perilous. Mi Ka insisted on going to help, so Xing Kelei had no choice but to tie her with a rope and guide her safely to the accident scene.

Under the guidance of Shao Yuhan and with the help of Xu Yanshan, MiKa successfully performed a thoracentesis and saved the patient's life. Mi Ka was working hard to adapt to the busy and unpredictable situations in the Emergency Department, and she gained a deeper understanding of the importance of emergency work. Her efforts had finally earned recognition from Wei Lan. Xing Kelei waited for Mi Ka at the hospital entrance, wanting to apologize to her. They ended up arguing, but eventually reconciled.

A girl named Mumu drank insecticide and was rushed to the emergency room. Mi Ka, along with all available medical staff in the hospital, assisted in preparing the atropine. Meanwhile, Xing Kelei contacted Li Nian and others on duty, personally leading the team to deliver the medication.

Upon hearing from Qing Xia that Mi Ka was homeless, Xing Kelei rented his house cheaply to Mi Ka and moved to Xing Keyao's house across the street. After moving in, Mi Ka noticed something was off. Every daily necessity she mentioned would mysteriously appear in the house the next day. Qing Xia even suspected that the landlord was a weirdo.

A crazed fan had kidnapped an idol in the city, prompting Xing Kelei to lead the team in tracking and rescuing work. Mi Ka went to the scene to provide support as a paramedic. Seeing Xing Kelei wearing protective gear, she was reminded of the SWAT officer who saved her two years ago.

Xing Kelei made plans to go out with Mi Ka over the weekend, but little did he know that on the day of their outing, he received an urgent mission and had to leave abruptly. He asked Lu Feng to help take care of Mi Ka. Coincidentally, Mi Ka asked Qingxia to accompany her. Lu Feng was drawn to Qingxia's straightforward and capable demeanor.

Meanwhile, Xing Kelei led the team into Mao Village. Zhuo Wenjing fell from a cliff and was injured, so Xing Kelei descended to the bottom of the cliff to stay with her and await help.

Due to heavy rain, the water level of the upstream reservoir in Xinguan Village surged rapidly. Xing Kelei received orders to evacuate all residents of Xinguan Village immediately. However, Shao Yuhan insisted on completing the surgery for a patient before leaving. Their opposing stances led to an argument.

Xing Kelei and Mi Ka ventured into the mine for a rescue mission. Just as they were about to exit the mine, a sudden aftershock damaged the elevator. With the auxiliary shaft blocked off, both of them were trapped inside the mine.

Xing Kelei and Mi Ka exhausted their strength but couldn't get out of the mine. As the oxygen in the mine gradually depleted, they felt their lives were nearing an end. It was then that Xing Kelei confessed his feelings to Mi Ka.

After safely leaving the mine, Xing Kelei and Mi Ka had their first date. They then resumed their duties at work. Mi Ka embraced her remaining time in the Emergency Department.

Mi Ka had been performing well in Neurosurgery, so Shao Yuhan asked Xu Yanshan to delegate some patients to Mi Ka to handle. However, Xu Yanshan had assigned Mi Ka only basic tasks. Nonetheless, MiKa still took them seriously.

Xing Kelei invited Mi Ka to go to the resort for a getaway. Mi Ka was surprised to find out about the past romantic relationship between Shao Yuhan and Xing Keyao. The couple plotted to bring Xing Keyao and Shao Yuhan together by arranging for them to go to the resort at the same time.

The group had a barbecue at the resort. Mi Ka and Xing Kelei made every effort to matchmake Shao Yuhan and Xing Keyao. Qingxia and Shu Wenbo felt a bit awkward watching. After the barbecue, Mi Ka suggested playing Truth or Dare to help Shao Yuhan and Xing Keyao confront their true feelings.

Upon hearing others talk about Shao Yuhan admiring Mi Ka, Xu Yanshan felt disheartened. Xing Kelei had blurred vision very frequently. He went for an examination and discovered a pituitary adenoma.

The doctor suggested that Xing Kelei undergo a craniotomy to remove the tumor. However, there might be complications afterward, and Xing Kelei may no longer be fit for frontline work. Xing Kelei felt extremely disheartened.

Xing Kelei felt that his calling was to serve in the frontline of the SWAT Team, and if he were to give up that role, he truly didn't know what to do. On the other hand, Xu Yanshan's mom was admitted to the hospital. During her stay, she learned of Xu Yanshan's resignation and criticized the latter for being worthless. This led to an argument between the mother and daughter.

Xing Kelei confided his condition to Mi Ka. He thanked her for inadvertently saying things that lifted his spirits. Even if he couldn't continue frontline work in the future, his initial aspirations would remain unchanged.

Mi Ka actively sought better surgical options for Xing Kelei, and Shao Yuhan offered to perform minimally invasive surgery for him. Despite its difficulty, he was confident in his abilities. Xing Kelei thanked Mi Ka for protecting his dreams with her professionalism.

Xing Kelei suggested moving in with Mi Ka, and she agreed. Xing Kelei's childhood friend, Shen Jianing, came to him seeking financial assistance. Unbeknownst to Xing Kelei, Shen Jianing had harbored feelings for him since they were young and hoped to take their relationship to the next level.

Xing Ke Lei explained his relationship with the Shen sisters to Mi Ka. The latter reassured him that she never doubted him. Xing Kelei bore all of Shen Jianing's medical expenses, and she was successfully admitted to the hospital. However, her overreliance on Xing Kelei caused gossip to spread throughout the hospital.

With Shen Jianing's surgery approaching, Shen Jianan's sudden disappearance left Shen Jianing in a complete state of despair. Meanwhile, Xing Kelei had to return to the team for closed-door training. Mi Ka took on the responsibility of caring for Shen Jianing without hesitation.

Shen Jianan showed up after Shen Jianing's surgery was over. Shen Jianing finally recovered. After seeing off the Shen sisters, Xing Kelei and Mi Ka's life resumed its peaceful pace.

Amidst a shootout, the head of drug dealers seized Mi Ka and Xing Kelei, forcing them back onto the bus. Xing Kelei engaged in a fierce fight with the former but found himself at a disadvantage. He was stabbed while protecting Mi Ka.
